Unfortunately, I am spending my first ever weekend in Shreveport.

The wife wanted to gamble so we came over. Never again. The tables are limited to 3 except for craps which is 6. I watched 3 upstanding people hold up 3 positions at a craps table for 30 minutes while one of them was trying to figure out how to withdraw money from the cashier.

Hearne Avenue seems like the better guess.

That's a regular Friday/Saturday night at the Raceway on Hearne. Been like that for years and years. It's like a cruising spot of sorts. You'll see a bunch of nice cars and people showing off doing dumb shite.

I’m curious as to how many of those cars have handicapped hang tags. I’ve been noticing a ton of new cars with handicap tags for people in their early 40’s who look mighty healthy.

Shreveport would rather be in Texas

Being that a lot of people leave it seems that a good portion of the state feels this way

I'd hang out with a crowd like that in my 20s.

I don't really know why, but I just feel like something bad is gonna happen.

Walk into Marleys in Downtown Lafayette at 11PM.... nobody in sight on the sidewalks.
Walk out at 2AM.... shoulder to shoulder with squatters all looking ready to fight each other.
It’s gotten bad the last 2 years and that same crowd is responsible for the Festival shooting/gunshots

More pics in the OP than all the useless “beach is packed” threads today.

Is that some sort of poor people gumball rally?

Nope, it's the "Watermelon 500" held every Memorial Day Eve.

That’s either the one on 70th or the one by WK North on Hearne. Both classy establishments.

Nothing new. BR folks, if you want to see a similar sight, the Exxon by Plank and Evangeline is a concoction of loud trunk music, hood dancing, hydraulics, etc. It is a meet and greet to determine where the party will be.

Certainly could be a premise to one.
