My parents didn't really shout at us all that much, but they shouted just enough to ingrain in us that when their voices raised even a little bit, and that tone turned serious, we knew we were fricking up.

CNN viewers must not think shouting is too bad since they don't mind the sexual abuse.

Here is a fun tidbit after 5 min on google.
The study she cited is in the journal Child Abuse and Neglect.
This is published by Elsevier.
Elsevier is a Dutch company under parent organization RELX which is publicly traded in Europe and US.

Bingo. Because people will still yell at their kids, then people should be able to have sex with kids, the outcome is the same after all.

Such horse shite. Today people want treat their children like they are grown up and responsible. Children learn thru being corrected, sometimes yelled at, and sometimes getting that arse whipped. This generation of spoiled and entitled youth is a direct result of a lack of discipline.

Same people that think kids are sex objects and can change genders are peddling this. Lololol

Some idiot on Reddit was talking about this type of stuff a while back. He was spewing the same shite, offering "time outs" and no yelling in the household. I asked how many kids he had and he said "well...none, but I don't need any to have common sense."

The lack of discipline at home over the past few decades has led this country to the brink up disaster.

I don't know about that but I am glad my parents drew the line at shouting.

As a parent that did my fair share of shouting, I think there might be something to this. I think spanking is a lot less harmful than people think and screaming is a lot more harmful than people think.
