Should the BLM Movement have the “N” word completely eliminated?

I mean from song lyrics and people of color’s vocabulary. How can statues be eliminated and laws be passed, yet it is assumed that this is ok? Just like the history that is being wiped out, this is part of that history.

Yes, if it has no purpose in other race’s vocabulary, it should be eliminated from use completely.

on a scale of 1 to start-a-thread, how worried are you about black people?

Yes I’m tired of hearing it in every sentence one speaks in rap or on worldstar.
Better yet how would the population react if your common folk started considering it a trigger word?

Yes, if we want to really promote equality among the races, using the N word as okay for black people, and even a term of endearment between them, is ridiculous.

Maybe they can ask Hamas for permission and see what they say.

No cuz then they wouldn’t know what to call each other.

Went to a park a couple weeks ago, few black women and kids set up nearby (kids were from 2-6), blaring music laced with f and n bombs in them.

Are there other words that some races are allowed to say while other races are not allowed?

It's black privilege. Being able to use a word without any repercussions.

Sure. It will be like some dumbass real version of Harry Potter. Come to think of it, that whole 'you can't say Voldemort' thing was probably just training for a generation to think that 'words are violence'.

Don’t watch the movie “Life”

That crossed my mind last night after hearing my nephew’s music. By saying “we” can call each other that but “y’all “ can’t is racist. If you deman equality don’t demand/maintain differences. It’s crazy

It’s all about context:
NAACP — National Association for the Advancement of Colored People
UNCF — United Negro College Fund
both organizations are extremely large and were founded by blacks, for blacks. But I don’t think any whites person could ever get away with even politely referring to a black person as a “Negro”.

Which is exactly why it won't be going away anytime soon. Zero chance the black community gives up something the white community gave up (for the most part) years ago out of respect.

Hello statue, have you met 2020.
Why should a group destroy a statue I’m not offended by. Hmm seems my choice doesn’t matter right now. If slavery is forgotten it’s bound to return in some form or fashion in the future, be careful what you wish for.
