Having to pay attention to dumbasses peddling down the highway wearing their Lance Armstrong starer kit out fits while driving is the f**king worst.

I am so relieved that I moved my horses and don’t have to deal with river road anymore. The majority of cyclists were fine, but the packs of 20 that stretched out into a clump too large to pass and created huge traffic jams can go to hell.

Also, I think the ones who would ride early in the am and fog without blinky lights were suicidal. Those lights definitely work.

Rural state highways with no shoulders are not the place for a cluster of 10-20 cyclists at a time to be riding.

Where do you suggest they ride

Glad some areas of the state are starting to push back against them

I suggest they get a mountain bike with flat proof tires and start taking the damn shoulder. It would even provide a better workout.
The worst is when a pair decides to ride side by side in the middle of the road.

Us: please get the frick off the road
Cyclists: build us a bike path
Us: we built you a bike path, please get off the road
Cyclists: well... we STILL have the right to hog the middle of the road of we want

You don't have state sales tax on bicycles?

not sure if serious or a weak attempt to be clever but I’ll meet you any place at any time to have a candid conversation to determine what you meant and motive for saying what you said and believe...

you: "get off the road!" cyclists: "ok, can we have a bike path so we don't have to get on the road?" also you: "NO!"

Where does this sense of entitlement for bikers come from? Why should they get special treatment no other groups get? There is no god-given right to bicycle down busy highways

My uncle is one of those

I understand if you have to go straight to a place after riding. I do that in barn clothes all the time. But we were on vacation once and everybody had time to shower and get ready for dinner. He instead insisted on going to eat in his full getup. He is clearly one who just does it for attention.

We now have people dumber than cyclists...scooter riders.

In fact almost hit one today who darted across 3 lanes of traffic this morning

the irony of someone complaining about entitlement while bitching about someone else using something they use

I don't know how more people don't get killed on those things. It's like people instantly regress to a 12 year old's sense of danger when they swing a leg over it.
