Posted this on the Shreveport parade shooting thread few hours ago. Pretty much the case anywhere you have everyone going someplace at once, and more so when half the city are thugs. Maybe we need to have separated parades for those who can handle themselves and the thugs. We have tried to make this work and it clearly won’t work. Would be nice for everyone to come together for Mardi Gras but not worth people dying for. Just have civilized Mardi Gras and let them have their own in the other side of town.
