i’ve noticed a lot less pics/vids coming out of this as opposed to Stoneman Douglas. Not that i want to see anything that resembles those awful snapchat videos in classrooms - just an observation. no clue if this shooting was confined to one area or spread out or anything.

Exactly.

A lot of deaths are caused by vehicle accidents, but at least vehicle companies continue to find ways to build safer vehicles.

Many people die from cancer and there is continuous research on more effective ways to treat cancer or even prevent it.

There was a time when construction work was extremely risky (mainly industrial) and now safety is a huge deal. I'll be more specific, I think it was during the great depression, when there were construction projects like the Tennessee Valley Authority (is that the name? I forget specific details).. Anyway, there were so many people looking for work, that there would be people standing in line because there were often loss of life on the jobs, people falling off a bridge being built, etc.. Today, that would be unheard of. One fatality would be a big deal.

Even in the military, they continuously try to find ways to minimize fatalities, but for some reason, when it comes to this issue. Nothing changes.
