re: blueberry bushes - TheriotAF
I just ordered 2 from [link=(https://www.starkbros.com/products/berry-plants/blueberry-plants)]Stark Brothers[/link]. I ordered 2 others last year and both are doing well even though I have neglected monitoring the ph in their pots. I'm moving them to the ground this weekend. Type in your zip ...

re: Average tax refunds were down last week 8.4 percent - TheriotAF
Every refund I’ve done so far has resulted in people paying less taxes on more income. I’ll admit it’s a small sample so early in tax season but this has been a consistent trend. 50/50 have been larger refunds....

re: What fruit trees have you had success with in south Louisiana? - TheriotAF
Any blackberries?
Last year it had moderate out put mainly due to the smaller size of it. It has grown a ton since then and I am assuming it will produce much more. I need to figure out where to plant it since it has out grown the pot....

re: Is it normal for blueberry bushes in S La to be blooming right now? - TheriotAF
I would not wait to plant yours until after blooming, you'll miss the spring if you do. They bloom for a while, and I can't think of any reason not to plant it now.
 Hopefully I can find some time in the next few weeks to put them in....

re: What fruit trees have you had success with in south Louisiana? - TheriotAF
The thing with bananas is the stem that produces fruit will not repeat production and needs to be cut out and new growth will produce fruit, much like many berry bushes.
This explains why I never remember any of the dozens upon dozens of banana trees at my grandmother's house ever ...

re: Is it normal for blueberry bushes in S La to be blooming right now? - TheriotAF
I bought both plants last year very early in the spring and they both did well in the Navarre Beach, FL area. My parents have a neighbor in Lake Charles that has some bushes and they do very well. I recently moved back here and I’m eager to put them in the ground along with my satsuma and maybe 1 or...

Is it normal for blueberry bushes in S La to be blooming right now? - TheriotAF
I’ve got 2 that are blooming. I picked the buds off one since it still needs to grow a lot. Also, I’m assuming you would need to wait until after it’s done producing to put in the ground? Both are in pots and I plan on getting 2 more and putting all in the ground off my back patio. Third: is t...

I brought this up to my wife just now thinking she would pretend to seem interested then just drop it. She actually wants to look deeper into it though so hopefully it will work out....

re: Anyone ever gotten LASIK done twice? - TheriotAF
I actually had PRK the first time and if I was eligible I could have a second surgery. Not sure which one they would do. But I didn’t qualify for an upgrade
Gotcha, how long did it take for your dry eye to go away? I got mine almost a year ago and still wake up 1-2 times a week fee...

I wonder if you’ve had LASIK before, if you can have PRK the second time? That way the layer grows back....

re: VA Gov Northam argues in favor of *post birth abortion* in interview this morning - TheriotAF
That's just it, it would be damn near impossible. I wouldn't even know where to begin to draw that line.
As a matter of fact, given history, I am going to go ahead and say "health of the infant" will be as loosely defined as possible...
This is what usually happens but it's presen...

re: VA Gov Northam argues in favor of *post birth abortion* in interview this morning - TheriotAF
I agree, which is why if a bill like this is even remotely considered, there would have to be very definitive language protecting healthy children. How do you do that? No clue. Each person has their own interpretation of healthy....

re: VA Gov Northam argues in favor of *post birth abortion* in interview this morning - TheriotAF
I am pretty much as pro-life as it gets, but in this conversation, he is not talking about normal healthy infants, he clearly says "non-viable" and "in this situation." The "severe deformity" part would need to be explained more. I don't agree you should let a kid die because you don't like how t...

PPPoe/VLAN Question - TheriotAF
Original title and question: Has anyone used a third party modem with CenturyLink fiber internet? Don't want to pay the monthly fee anymore. TIA Edit: After researching it looked like you don’t need a modem at all with fiber, just need a router with pppoe and vlan. Turns out that my Amplifi...

re: HD Antenna - TheriotAF
I don't consider myself an expert, just using my own personal experience to help others...but I think you're out of luck. If you were able to somehow build a monster of a tower 50+ ft up, you would still have a tough time picking up receptions with any sort of reliability. Hopefully someone in y...

re: HD Antenna - TheriotAF
If you’re really 30 miles out, I would honestly run to Walmart and pick up a Mohu Leaf and try that out. Worst case scenario if it doesn’t work out you can return it...it’s walmart. I had one in a window hanging by suction cups when I lived in Florida and I was picking up a Station 50 miles in Mo...
