I currently have a Yamaha surround sound setup that works great but need something to separate the zones if need be (don’t want to be blasting whatever movie to my neighbor...

re: Polk or Yamaha for a sub? - TheriotAF
I ended up going with the Polk PSW10. Bigger than I thought it was but is doing a great job for an $80 buy. Pretty happy so far!...

re: Am I being too stingy with mortgage payment? - TheriotAF
No doubt. $400/yr is worth the peace of mind to me, especially after watching the 2016 flood unfold and see a neighborhood I lived in as a kid go under 10ft. Never thought it would ever get water like that....

Looking at some subdivisions in Iowa. A lot more house for your dollar there. 1700-1800 sq ft would be ideal for now....

re: Alberto - Steadily Moving Inland - TheriotAF
Stormcastlive.com is a good one for information on storms. It’s currently down because the went to a new site, had server issues, and are now migrating to a new server to handle the traffic. They are currently using [link=(http://stormcastforums.com/board/10/tropical-weather)]Stormcastforums.com[...

I think most people lost interest when the TS watches went down in Louisiana. I’m here in Gulf Breeze bouncing between tropical tidbits, stormcast, and here making sure this thing doesn’t pull some final hour bull run....
