I can and did answer the question. It’s not a gun problem. It’s not even a mental heatlh problem. It’s a heart problem. Namely, these kids have no love in their heart because they’ve never been taught to love. They have no humanity. They don’t value any life except their own. People are seen as nothing more than things. They have no moral foundation built on the bedrock of God’s commandment to love Him and love one another. They have no sense of right and wrong because the adults in their life have taught them that right and wrong is “subjective”. Do what you want. We sowed the seeds of this generation and now those seeds are starting to bear fruit. We made these kids. We did it because we have turned our back on our own moral foundation and now live on the shifting sands of moral relativism.
Wonderful

Now tell me what we are doing differently than Europe and other first world countries that have still raised social media Iphone obsessed brats?

Or are you saying they are doing a better job of raising children there and will soon be our overlords?

Put me in the ‘I blame social media and poor mental health’ crowd.

Social media provides very little value to minors in our society.

As far as mental health. We are trying to accept everyone these days. We want transgender to be ‘normal’. We want cross dressers to be ‘normal’. Our ancestors didn’t find that shite to be the norm. This society is all about ‘look at me’ and posting their 15 seconds of fame on instagram. It’s sickening.

My solution is to ban social media to kids under 18. I think it would fix a lot of the problems in school

So we can't ban guns for kids under 18, because muh Second Amendment.

But we can ban free speech for kids under 18?

Sounds like mental health problems to me.

The brain is a fragile thing. If you aren't taught things the right way, you'll be socially and emotionally stunted as you grow older.

You call it heart but that's not a tangible thing.

Unless we recognize the fact it’s not a gun problem or even a mental health problem but instead it’s a heart problem, things will only get worse.

So there’s your answer. You probably won’t like it and will probably reject it because it requires you to check yourself and see your own faults in your own heart.

In all of this dribble you still didn't answer the question which was WHAT IS YOUR frickING 'MENTAL HEALTH'SOLUTION?

They do a better job of raising kids over there 100%.

The real problem is twofold: We as a society don’t value life like we used to mainly due the acceptance of abortion and the constant flood of violence and death on tv and videogames. And the desire of people to be social media famous.

Guns aren’t the cause of the societal rot.

Yep, nailed it. This is easily verifiable too, since no other country on Earth has legalized abortions, violent movies, video games, or social media. These things only exist in America, hence why the US has so many more school shootings and than anywhere else.

This is why people say it's a mental health problem. These people mentally develop into fricked up individuals from a lack of a good upbringing or other home based factors that could have been corrected during their childhood/formative years. They are mentally unstable.

Instead of treating mental illness, we celebrate it.

Why don't they grow up into violent adults?

Probably not, in the macro sense.

But I agree you can do the same analysis without it being necessarily Christianity-focused.

We aren’t doing anything differently, which is why depression, “mental illness”, and suicides are increasing in all developed/1st world countries.

There is a common trend.

even though it's the one proven common factor throughout.

Incorrect. The common factor is a person intent on committing murder. The gun didn’t give him that intent, it was merely the tool that he selected to accomplish his intent. Plenty of examples of people with such intent that don’t use guns. Vast numbers of people with guns that don’t murder. Those law abiding citizens should not be restricted in any way in a misguided attempt to take tools away from murderous people.

They normally go apeshit when people start threads saying Europe is better than america, but now they will admit Europeans are better than Americans at essentially the most important thing to human existence?

Non of these violates the bill of rights. Limiting free speech does.
