Again what issues? He’s been clean and sober for years. I feel like I’m missing something y’all are following.
Simple battery is a misdemeanor. He could have pushed someone back that was harassing him, and the cops took both people. They don’t ask questions during Mardi Gras. Everyone goes. Seems like a dumb story. With cameras everywhere these days if it was serious someone would have posted a video already.

2 or 3 years ago he was in Plaquemine for the Comogo parade. I didn't believe it until someone showed me a picture. Evidently he was with an uncle or something, but he does come down for Mardi Gras,,

I’ve also seen videos of him being nice to people around town in the past. Could be a case where someone antagonized him
Never underestimate the people out there actively looking to cause people who are trying to change their lives to stumble.
Misery revels in seeing others fall.

These actors always whine about getting molested or whatever as child stars but look who isn’t at work today
Just sayin

Just because someone claims to be sober doesn't make it true. Unless you actually know him personally? This doesn't sound like a sober person, but what do I know

If there was ever a city to fall off the wagon in, it’s New Orleans. If there was ever a time, it’s Mardi Gras. While the carnival culminates tomorrow, Fat Tuesday, the Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf — who has professed to be sober, and who has blamed his abusive behavior towards ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs on his past alcoholism — has been on an extended-weekend bar crawl in the city’s Uptown neighborhood since Thursday, say employees of various drinking establishments around the city.
The mercurial actor ran into a door block early Sunday night at the open-24/7 bar Ms Mae’s when LaBeouf — married to Frankenstein indie queen Mia Goth — showed up at the boisterous dive sans shirt or cash. He wasn’t alone in what Ms Mae’s doorman Robert Skuse described as an “inebriated” state, and was “somewhat belligerent.” LaBeouf came in right around the time the Bacchus super-krewe parade rolled up St. Charles Avenue, amid thousands of revelers, most of them deeply in their go-cups, catching “throws” and watching floats and marching bands go by.

Sober people don't frequent Brother's 3

I remember seeing an extremely bizarre video of him years ago. The paparazzi was pretty much harassing/stalking him at his house, he went out to confront them, one of the paps intentionally escalated things to get him to react and it got physical. Cops were called and while he calmly waited for them to come another pap sat down and interviewed him about the whole thing. It was an insane glimpse into what a life like that is really like.

I have seen him multiple times in the last year. He is not clean and sober. There’s virtually no difference between him and a homeless street urchin except he’s not asking for money.

I like him but even “sober” (he ain’t) he’s a loose cannon who got completely fricked up by being a child actor
