LIVINGSTON PARISH - Law enforcement officials have seized an extensive piece of land belonging to 'Dukes of Hazzard' star John Schneider in Livingston Parish and plan to put it up for sale later this month.
According to court documents obtained by WBRZ Investigative Unit Thursday, the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office took over the property totaling more than 50 acres. The property includes Schneider's home, office, cars, sound stages, and more. It will go up for sale after Jan. 16.
The sheriff's office says the seizure of sale is due to a bank foreclosure for "failure to pay" the mortgage.
Schneider was in and out of jail in June over an alimony dispute. The actor told Fox News earlier this year he cannot afford the payments to his estranged wife Elvira "Elly" Schneider.
Additionally, the studio was one of numerous properties to take significant flood damage in August 2016.
He was most recently featured on the latest season of 'Dancing with the Stars'.LINK

Aw dang, I liked that guy and what he brought to the area.
But you gotta pay for your shite, my man.
Doesn't he have the old Broadmoor Theater sign out there?

He lives down the road from me - He saw me once in a gas station and he did a double take. I looked good.
I'll ask him what he wants for the land. I might be able to work out a deal.

His ex fleeced him for everything he had. I bet the Dukes of Hazzard boycott really fricked him as well.

Well it's a tad bit more sprawling than what I'm used to.

He should set up a gofundme and let strangers bail him out

My wife convinced me to take the family through his drive-thru Christmas extravaganza about a month ago. That was the most pathetic lights display I've ever seen. I would have been embarrassed for others to see that setup and the dump that was his property.

Sometimes.
But sometimes it is paying a teammate for the help contributed to building the team.

If you're cutting it with a riding mower, it's sprawling. If you're growing soybeans, not so much.

That's just a little bit more than the law will allow.
