I didn't have people monitoring my whereabouts when I was a kid, why would I start now.

As long as I was home by dark, I had the run of the neighborhood and beyond.

If I tell my wife I'm heading down to the across town watering hole for some pints and a few games of darts, then that is where I'll be. If I hop on my cruiser and take a day ride I'll let her know my general destination---north shore to ride the 2 lane rural roads for a few hours.

Same goes for her. She will get together with friends and take in a movie or grab lunch with them on weekends and I trust her enough to not have any issues.

This, I just find the whole thing weird.

If I'm dead in a ditch somewhere, then knowing exactly where I'm at isn't going to change anything.

I can't imagine a situation where it'd really be useful, other than finding a device.

LOL, I've posted repeatedly that men are under the control of women, for years, and this is what you've got? Are you a Tulane graduate?

Why are you so angry? Did Bryn Mawr teach you how to fight the patriarchy by insults? Christ. I still don't hate you though. Can you drink beer with people that you disagree with? Cause it's the time that would be happening.

Mrs. H2O and I share location 24/7. Not a big deal.

My mom and dad can also see it. Way easier when traveling for them to see where I am.

That is fricking weird and controlling. I have no idea why people do that. If someone has trust issues to the point you are tracking the location of your spouse than maybe they shouldn't be married. Also I have heard someone proclaim it is about if they go missing so they have a location. If someone is that neurotic than they need to go to thearpy or something. It is weird and unhealthy to do that.

Because my wife and I don't track every movement? The country I live in prostitution is legal and I live within walking distance of 3 whore houses plus it is not hard to get with a female in Bavaria. I don't cheat on my wife neither does she. If either of us did than that is a clear line in our marriage that if crossed would end in divorce. I just think it is weird and not healthy to pull up the physical location of your spouse at all times. Many of you have trust issues or you are controlling. To each thier own I guess.

A husband and wife being able to locate each other via an app isn’t the same as allowing the government to track us you dumbass

Create your own thread instead of shoe horning in your nonsense

Bryn Mawr is a town just NW of Philly. He was referencing Bryn Mawr College there. It is pronouned live brin (like wren) mar (like mars with no s). It is a Quaker womens only school though like many instututions founded in religion it is just tangentially religious now. It is one of the Seven Sisters colleges like Vasser, Wellesly, Smith, Barnard, Mount Holyoke etc. It is a liberal arts institution and while that has zero to do with politics the women who matriculate there lean very heavily liberal despite most of them coming from fiscally conservative backgrounds.

LSS he called you a liberal

My location is not blocked. My understanding is that anyone can track me. Several of my middle aged kids, nephews and nieces do just that, and maybe my wife does. I have no idea and don’t care.

They are not tracking me for voyeurism; they track so that when we are on vacation or doing something together they can tell where I am.

I haven’t but I wouldn’t have any issue with it. It’s your spouse, you shouldn’t be hiding things from them anyway

I wonder if you realize how insane this sentence is

Also, if you track your kids location you aren’t being a parent, you’re a babysitter.
