what part of any of that story was illegal? maybe if the teacher sending it to her "son" was under aged but

If they don't consent to public release of the video, it's a crime. Also if the video was taken without the knowledge of one of the participants, it's a much more serious crime.

Dude videos himself and a chick doing the deed. He sends the video to a shitpot of folks. One of said folks is a teacher. Just so happens that the teacher’s ex-husband is now banging the chick in the video. I guess it’s her attempt to shame her ex that he’s dating a whore. Little does she know we don’t care, had sex. At least that’s my interpretation of the events.

Sounds like the cop was jilted by the ex-girlfriend and found out she was dating the ex-husband of his teacher friend. So to be a dick because his feelings were hurt he sent the videos to the teacher who then sent to her ex-husband and everyone else she could think of. Teacher should be charged.

Yup.
And the scorned West Monroe HS teacher sent a text, which had a screenshot of the video made into a Christmas card, to the new bf (her ex hubby); her 17yo ex stepson, with derogatory comments about his dad's new gf; and a lot of his employee's at his home health business.
The story didn't explain, but the video and/or screenshots were spread around a First National Bank too.
