According to the National Weather Service, since the outbreak on April 27, 2011, this is only the third time Alabama has been included in a Level 4 risk three days out.

Maybe I’m wrong but I thought the April 27 outbreak had a high risk for a day or two

It did, but that was what is now the moderate risk. Don't know why they had to change it.

Kinda like changing squall line to QLCS and rightfully now back to squall line.

Both the moderate risk and the high risk categories existed on 4/27/11. They’ve since added the marginal and enhanced categories.

Nice, how'd y'all come out. They've had a pretty decent club and seem to be a magnet for the baseball talent here.

Nasty look from the 00z run of the HRRR. Discrete cells have formed over eastern Mississippi.this would be about 2:00 PM Central time.

Ahh, but pretty sure the highest risk was still what is now known as high. Guess they just expanded it.

That’s crazy how all of those discrete cells just showed up.

Do you have to pay or subscribe to see those more advanced future HRRR models? I can only find the one that goes out a few hours advance online.

That particular HRRR run looks similar to what was there in 2011; not saying it'll be the same or as supercellular, but there are similarities in structure to that depiction.

I'd love to see an image of that earlier run.

I had the plate tonight. They beat Griffin 6-1 at Griffin.

The Northside catcher was the best catcher I've had all year. I wasn't touched all night. It was glorious.

They have a good squad. Their starter, #2, had an absolutely filthy hook, especially against lefties.

According to the HRRR, rotation won't be an issue in Louisiana until you are at or east of the I-55 corridor.

They only run the extended HRRR at 00z, 06z, 12z, and 18z. The shorter version is run every hour.

You can find the latest extended run at this link after selecting HRRR at the top and select 00z under "Select Model Run" to the left of the image.
