Yesterday, Alvarez lobbed an 0-2 pitch with two outs to their best hitter with a runner on 2nd, and then we swung at a garbage pitch early on in the count and lightly dribbled it to 2nd with the bases loaded and 1 out. That was the game. Why I fricking can't watch college baseball for long.

Hopefully he fits into a new role. By the end of the season, I was sick of him, but it's definitely a good indicator of the program.
