Sorry, in Current Year when someone claims they are being harassed or attacked, assume that it is made up bullzhit and work your way backwards from there to glean the truth.

If the "LGBTQ+" wasn't so damn attention whoring, they wouldn't get 90% of the "hate and bigotry" thrown at them.

So he came out as being openly gay, a co-worker called him a fig on twitter and now he’s taking a leave of absence because of the tweet?

Sounds like Seth is laying the ground work for an EEOC complaint/lawsuit against the station. It’s hard for me to understand that a single tweet could be so detrimental that it would cause him to take leave, seems very disingenuous.

Here’s the deal, if you’re more upset that Seth is taking a leave of absence than you were about someone calling him a fig, you’re a POS.

I'm not. Its definitely worse.

But taking a leave of absence because some random called you a bad word is ludicrous.

He's obviously lawyered up.

It was definitely an inappropriate comment, but if somebody called me a derogatory name, I’d just let it roll off my back. People are so thin skinned today. It’s ridiculous to think the tweet had such an adverse effect on him that he had to take leave.

Not to mention declaring a litigation war on numerous small business owners putting some out of business and/or paying huge amounts in litigation fees.

Someone who works in the public eye, and constantly expressions opinions that sometimes aren't popular, isn't a person who is "thin-skinned".

These types of situations really don't happen because of the namecalling. They happen because the people who need to address this issue, don't do it.

Seth must thing the station isn't taking this serious enough.

Yes, WWL did have David Tyree (RIP) there for years. But that was 20 years ago, this is a completely different station and different group of management.

I doubt many care if he takes a leave of absence that really isn't news. The fact he claims he is so damaged by a tweet that he can no longer function is what is drawing the attention.

That and the fact the entire episode is suspicious.

This is what Jussie has done to society. We now think all of these situations are full of shite.

Way to help your people, clown.

The official Twitter account of your place of employment is someone random?
If it was @charliessaint247 sure you have a point. But it being his workplace opens up a whole other bag of worms of HR legality. WWL better be careful because of it gains stream in the media they'll be absolutely roasted.

Everyone needs to be a victim these days. Baby boomers raised a bunch of pussyfoot, side walking sissy’s who give words way too much power.
Not me though, my ole man beat the ‘pussy arse bitch’ out of me years ago, and I am thankful for that.
