Don’t care about people’s hurt feelings on a sports radio show.
Twitter’s CEO account even got hacked, and on top of what employees have access to a company’s account many companies give access to 3rd party companies to direct certain marketing campaigns and also aspects of customer service.
Unless he also has proof of a culture of discrimination and hateful actions supported and/or performed by company management and this was last straw The adult response would have been let them find out who posted and deal with it internally and move on.

just speculation, but...
1) clearly his "open letter" didnt sit well with many fans/listeners, nor some of his colleagues
2) this opened him up to likely hostility, veiled or otherwise, among his co-workers, who probably see him as an easy target
3) once again, seth dunlap brought all of this upon himself. he may have felt strongly about his opinion of brees' support-by-proxy of that organization, but he had to have know that this would open him up to hostility inside and outside. why he thought this was worth it is beyond my understanding
4) the line is now blurred between criticism of dunlap's grandstanding on the FoF issue, and homophobia. that is dunlap's fault, not WWL's. WWL is required however to investigate workplace harassment, which that tweet definitely was an example of

Time for WWL to change their twitter password from CajunCannon#3

What would be the funnier end to this story...
Seth engaging in a false flag operation
Bobby drunk tweeting it from the bayou
Garic drunk tweeting it from Express while buying a new shirt / tie combo

let me know when you send something. I only use that for fantasy football so I don't ever check the email portion

It was emotional and illogical at its base.

I don't think this in and of itself is wrong. Stating an opinion is reasonable...even if it's off base.

This is 100% accurate. And, I'd go further and suggest that Dunlap wants the line blurred. He's intentionally doing it by overreacting to the tweet. There is no defending the contents of the tweet, but he's playing the victim and pretending its impact is larger than it is.

What happened? Someone tweeted something mean at him?
Posted on 9/13/19 at 1:39 pm to TheCaterpillar
WWL has hired special agent hannah wells to uncover the truth of the tweet.

Reminds me of Erin Andrews and that law suit she had against that hotel chain because of the humiliation she faced after someone saw her breasts through a keyhole.

So I'm on my lunchbreak and I called WWL to troll and say that I think Seth pulled a Jussie Smollet and the call screener (very nice and friendly) said that there's almost zero chance of that - that he knows the story of when Seth found out and that it didn't seem like that's a possibility.
I thanked him and wished him a pleasant weekend, mildly ashamed of myself.

What a body she had, wow. I still remember that cute little dip dance move she did.

Seth's partner did it bc he was jealous of the time he devoted to his employer and not his relationship.

Agree 100% but... if I were in his shoes and had a chance at the following:
- a seven figure (or even a six-figure) settlement from an organization whose politics I don't agree with
- a higher national profile
- praise, kudos, and potential guest spots from national sports media
- a higher profile and better paying gig
I think most of us would play this the same way that Seth Dunlap is playing it. I don't like his politics or what he's doing, I don't like his criticism of all around swell guy Drew Brees, but I think I would do the same thing.

This is nothing like that at all.
The worst part for him, IMO, is the opportunity he lost.
He was in a market with one of 32 NFL franchises, working at a station that had rights to its games basically forever. He has excellent skills and could've worked himself up into being part of the actual in-game broadcast. Those jobs are hard to come by, and they are resume-builders.
Instead he's let a meaningless tweet (yeah, I said it) and a ridiculous Facebook missive derail that.
Hey, it's his career and his opinion, but sometimes you have to play the long game.

Then you are killing your broadcast career for what? $500K, maybe $350K after legal fees?
He could've parlayed into so much more.
I guess we'll see how it works out. I personally think he got bad advice.

only explanation that makes sense is that he was being made to feel uncomfortable (yes, that is harassment) at his workplace in ways that remain unseen by the public.
he made himself a target and there seems to be those taking advantage of that
