frick you baw. I have to be at work for 6:30.
I like seeing the sunrise. Plus when I get off at work there is less people in the gym when its dark
Same. I like taking my kid to school in daylight. Although I'm home at 4 anyway.
It will still be daylight until 7:30-7:45 during the summer if we just kept standard time year around like Arizona does. It would only get dark early like this for a few months.

I know people hate it, but we need to change the time in Louisiana.
If you don’t go to daylight savings then late spring and summer the sun is up before 5am.
I’ve never understood why this is a problem. That’s just a product of longer days in June/July. You get like 4 more hours of daylight around the summer solstice than you do around the winter solstice. It’s just a matter of where those hours occur.
Why is it imperative that all 4 of those hours come at the end of the day instead of naturally splitting the difference with standard time?
It’s really tough with young kids / bedtime when sunset goes from like 5:45 PM at the end of January to 7:15 PM by mid March… and then sunrise is at like 7:15 AM.
Seems to me that it’s a lot healthier for everyone to let the sunrise gradually occur earlier and the sunset gradually occur later than trying to reset everyone’s’ schedules.

end DST, they wouldn’t have moved the clocks forward back in the Spring. The time we are in now is the correct time according to the world clock (GMT). DST was something that’s made up. If you didn’t realize, it was dark outside until nearly 7:30am until we moved the clocks back to correct time. Kids at bus stops are standing in pitch dark, waiting on the bus.
I’d much rather it be darker in the mornin FB and lore light in the evening.

This is Standard time. I prefer Daylight savings time.

But for Daylight savings time we wouldn't have changed time a few days ago which is screwing everyone's Circadian clock up.
What grown adult is still having issue with the time change?

do you work outside? I get it in that case, so you an start working earlier and be done earlier. For a typical office job, myself, all it does is burn an extra hour of useful daylight while I am in the office. Even if it made my drive in, during daylight, I prefer not to give up an hour of light during my time for that.
No, but I hate driving during the dark, feel much more alert and energetic at work, and the people I work with are more productive and in better moods.
this only sounds great I'd your job is your life. Even though my job seems to consume most of my productive hours I prefer my hours be in daylight.
I don't want my daylight hours to be wasted on just driving to work. That seems stupid, unless you work outside.

I'm bitching about everyone in my house's circadian clock being way out of whack.
"Way out of whack" over a 1 hour time change? Took me 2 mornings of doing blow when I woke up to adjust, food for thought.

Glad I live in Mississippi. We're doing away with it after this year.

Thanks for the downvotes, probably from everyone who continues to call it Daylight Savings Time.
There is no S at the end of Saving.

Anyone that prefers dark at 6:30 pm is a stupid idiot and needs to die in a fire.
