Standard time is garbage but all the olds on the OT who mow their grass at 7 in the morning and turn out the lights by 8:30 love it. DST is so much better and less depressing because you actually have some post-work daylight.

Would prefer we stay on daylight savings time. I can’t get anything done around the house when I have time because it gets dark so early.

State can choose to do that on its own. Arizona made a similar choice.

That's dumb. Extra daylight in the afternoon so you don't have 15 minutes of daylight after work

For me personally, standard time is depressing. I love when spring comes around and I get extra time outside after work.

Correctly identifying it would be a good first step.

This, so much this. The amount of times people reference DST incorrectly is baffling.

People who work outside or farmers don’t typically have “office hours” so what difference does it make to them?

For people such as myself who have actual office jobs, we get home in pitch black fricking dark. We can’t mow our grass, hang out outside etc, we just never see our homes in the daylight until the weekend.

I’ve had kids in public school since 2000. None of them ever rode the bus. I always took my kids to school until they were old enough to drive their Audis.

Frick Standard Time. Keep DST year round.
None of my kids are in school anymore. I am on permanent vacation from kids and schools. I just want to mow my grass and drink beer.

Frick the time people!

Adapt
Current time is normal for human physiology. Daylight saving invented to make the masses more “productive” (for success and progress addicts)

Control zeitbergers

https://mybiohack.com/blog/zeitgebers-circadian-rhythm

Don’t eat when it is dark (wait 2 to 3 hours after waking and 2 to 3 hours prior to bed)

Practice time restricted eating

Avoid lights (screens/TV/bitching on TD) 2 to 3 hours prior to bed

Get sunlight during the day. Take a 10/15 minute walk outside after lunch. Incorporate being outside into your day (instead of “after work”)

What’s really fun is working with people in areas that don’t use it and having to figure out meeting times.
