Listen asswhipe, I know that. But for Daylight savings time we wouldn't have changed time a few days ago which is screwing everyone's Circadian clock up.

Do cicadas have circadian rhythms?

If it passes the house and Pedo Joe signs it, then when we move up an hour in June, that’s supposed to be it after that, no more movements huh?

War.

ETA: For the record, the war is to stop the eternal dicking with clocks. Just stop dicking with the clocks. That's all.

do you work outside? I get it in that case, so you an start working earlier and be done earlier. For a typical office job, myself, all it does is burn an extra hour of useful daylight while I am in the office. Even if it made my drive in, during daylight, I prefer not to give up an hour of light during my time for that.

This is the perfect time for it to get dark and daylight. Standard Time year round is the way to go.

We are on standard time.

I know people hate it, but we need to change the time in Louisiana.

If you don’t go to daylight savings then late spring and summer the sun is up before 5am.

If you don’t switch back to standard then the kids are at the bus stop in pitch black in the winter.

Unless you work some job with a mid shift thus doesn't even make sense.

No, but I hate driving during the dark, feel much more alert and energetic at work, and the people I work with are more productive and in better moods.

Well, this is standard time. It would get dark at 6 anyway.

Eliminate it and also put Halloween on last Saturday of every Oct. these both need to be done immediately. First candidate that presents this plan, gets my vote.

Some here need to learn the difference between standard time and daylight savings time. We are currently on standard time. Based on the OP, what you want is permanent daylight savings time.
