Costco pisses me off how you have to have a manager review your purchase if it exceeds 1k. That's literally every single time I go there.
Not sure why this is being downvoted. Wasn't an attempt to subtlebrag at all. If your purchase is over 1k expect to be held up for an additional 5 minutes while they validate your account.
Oh another reason they suck. They do not take Mastercard so I have to write a business check, which also delays my exit time.

I have both.
I go to Sams more often. I find they have more "staple" items.
Costco has really, really good store-brand items, especially in organic and other non-traditional items.
Essentially neither has everything I need/want, so that's why I have both.
If I had to get rid of one membership, it would be Costco.
I don't understand how Costco doesn't have a scan and go app yet. However... I'll say the lines at Costco move much, much faster than the line at Sams.

Costco, it's cleaner and has Kirkland products.

I'm pissed that Sams didn't have the marinated Salmon fillets in the Gulfport store. They now have Members Mark salmon fillets. Not cool.

This is why I hate Costco and Sams. Shopping there is frustrating if you have a list of items to obtain. Half the time they aren't carrying some of your list that week.
Wal Mart grocery pickup has prices that are almost as good with no frustrating of dealing with other customers...and minimal contact with employees.

I agree the Costco customers are gross. Guy called me a bootlicker there once. I have a membership for the travel alone. It is unbeatable. We tend to only go early in the morning or late at night.

Yeah, this is why we don't really make a list beyond paper products and cleaning supplies and whatnot when we do our monthly Sam's trip. We'll browse the food aisles and get stuff we want or need, but we got tired of them not having certain things.

They sell USDA Prime. Are you insinuating Costco gets better USDA Prime than Sam's, despite both being graded the same by the USDA?
I've bought some gorgeous steaks from Sam's in the past.

I've tried both. I went with Sam's. Sam's is better.
