I’m gonna go with it’s a group that hates Americans and has figured out that poisoning food and drinks is an easy was to make Americans sick or die while vacationing

Walton & Johnson were just talking about a big group of Americans that got really sick in DR while attending a Jimmy Buffet concert. Stay the hell away from that place.

These are generally liquids that are sprayed for pests such as roaches, ants, fleas, etc.

All of this and I’ve stayed in Boca Chica and Santo Domingo....not just Punta Cana
It’s truly a 3rd World Country
All 32 MLB baseball teams have training compounds down there and they are all pretty close to each other. Every one of them have armed guards at the gates and patrolling the grounds because they are afraid of kidnappings of the players and holding them for ransom.

The leader of the group stated on TV that each member who got sick also went into that petri dish known as the swim up bar. Nothing like 24 hours of pisse, farm it, and but crumbles mixed with alcohol.

I was there with a group of 19 on a senior trip the same week. We didn't have any problems. Don't drink anything that isn't sealed or if somebody says try this! Use common sense and lay of the Mamajuana! Maybe we consumed enough alcohol to kill any deadly pathogens!
