I use the Walmart College Drive Scan And Go like a frickin boss. They basically converted regular registers into self-check so you can load an entire conveyor belt and let it rip.

I mean it does help that I worked at Albertsons years ago but it's not frickin rocket science.

I get angry when stupid people stare at the screen and I can see there is nothing wrong except the user is a dumbass.

I'm perfectly fine at these but they still suck because even a 5 person line of machine experts is slower than 20 people at a regular system

self checkout made me appreciate cashiers more. it's incredible how they never have to look for the barcode. i always feel like a tard spinning my shite around like a rubiks cube to find where the barcode is.

Walmart is almost all self-checkout now. And like I mentioned, more and more locations are converting existing registers in to Scan and Goes(Self checkout on steroids) that allow you to use the conveyor and all like a normal register.
Your average adult with a brain is using the shite outta them at the College Drive Walmart in Baton Rouge. Two years ago, this location was a clusterfrick to checkout of in the afternoons. Now it's smooth as butta b/c I do it myself.
