I believe Acadian provides that service for free here.

frick this is terrible. The game is less safe because of the pads worn today tbh.

Almost always seems to be defender. Darryl Stingley was WR but that seems exception.

Looked on the LHSAA website and couldn't find anything. It may be required by school districts. I have also always seen an ambulance at every high school football game I've ever been to in Louisiana.

I don't think it's required. I think the local ambulance services and the private firms send units to park at football games instead of patrolling or sitting at the station as a community service. If the ambulance is needed elsewhere, though, they're gone.

Do you realize how many more players were dying in the early days of the sport?

Yep. I knew early on I'd never be a good football player I cared too much about my health. There's crazy Mo fo's out there playing with multiple broken bones among other injuries almost every game. We had a guy play with a broken finger on each hand, bad shoulder, and probably concussions. Dude was crazy.

For every injury avoided by no helmets there's crazy dudes out there that don't care and would be breaking noses like its their job.

Not sure what the solution is. Sad story here.
