Snow sucks without big grade changes.
We only get snow crazy down here because it's like fricking magic it's so rare and isn't around longer than a day.

Snow is overrated. One time I got stuck in a snowstorm in Tennessee was it was fricking miserable. Everything was shut down expect for a Waffle House next to my hotel. I hung out there all day lol

I'm in the famously mild Bay Area and I've never seen it this cold for this long. In a typical winter you never see snow in the local South Bay mountains (high point: 4,200 ft), but some winters you'll see snow for a day or two. This year there's been snow in the mountains for a couple of weeks. Yesterday morning I'm walking the dogs and it's 34°. I know that doesn't compare to people in the polar vortex, but it's cold for here!
