Velvet Revolver was worse than a late term abortion.

Thought of that line this morning. Was a great front man but has been gone for a long time. Really sad.

He was such an amazing frontman.

He was so talented. Amazing talent in the front as a man too.

I don't care what band they were "closer to", their music was moving with kick arse riffs, heart-pulsing drums, and poetic lyrics.

The Deleo brother on bass is also vastly underrated. Big Empty is so money.

That was GnR and that was the first song they ever wrote. Btw, Shannon Hoon from Blind Melon helped in the writing.

I am smellin' like the rose
That somebody gave me on
My birthday deathbed
I am smellin' like the rose
That somebody gave me
'Cause I'm dead & bloated

Eta - Old thread but I can't believe no one referenced that song in this thread...

No one that ever played in Limp Bizkit or Insane clown Posse, you wouldn't have heard of him.

Ex-Wife blames society.

Yeah... Just last week, it was my turn and I got to the call to hang out with Weiland and shoot him up with heroin.

Good times.

damn.

Our hope for Scott has died, but there is still hope for others. Let's choose to make this the first time we don't glorify this tragedy with talk of rock and roll and the demons that, by the way, don't have to come with it. Skip the depressing T-shirt with 1967-2015 on it – use the money to take a kid to a ballgame or out for ice cream.

Scott was an amazing frontman and vocalist but in that article (among other things) it said he wouldn't go to his kids' school christmas plays bc he turned atheist and didn't believe in that stuff.

frick him. He was a shitty father.
