Not surprised, he's battled drug addiction for so long. Still very sad, thou. I loved STP. Rip to one of the greats.

Aw, man. That's sad.

Great singer of a great band. Saw an interview with him where he talked about how he got hooked on heroin and how he never really enjoyed his success because he was so preoccupied with drugs.

Damn.

He was a big Notre Dame football fan - stepdad who basically raised him was a player at ND. He played on campus a bunch because he'd always be coming in for games.

This sucks. Liked STP and appreciated Weiland.

Addiction sucks balls. Way too many friends and family died from it. It's sometimes just too much for the person to handle, they relapse, then boom they're gone.
