Blvd de Province, that ghetto on the corner of O'Neal and S Harrells Ferry, Southpark off of Coursey, that neighborhood off of College at Corporate, apartments off of Staring, the Bottom. My point is that there are a number of places to avoid in SBR too.
Seriously some spots, Valley Park off college is dangerous and frick..and right down the street from nice stuff like Towne Center

If it’s so bad then why don’t you distance yourself from every aspect about LA and move on with your life? It’s America you can go be whoever you want. Get outta here if it’s so bad

For some people, it's "home". Is there better places to live? Absolutely, but it also has it's positives.
If having a plant job that pays enough to allow people to live the life they want (raise a family and provide for their family) then why does that matter to you? What is your current status in life? Are you living like a rock star? Georgia isn't anything that special.

Police identified the victim as Brent Jamison Batiste, 25. Family said he was just starting his career as a teacher, having previously been a manager at the Walgreens on Government Street.

wait, BR > Houston is a lateral move?

Is there any hope for BR?
It’s crazy that a capital city with a major university can become what it is. Detroit was trash, but even that place is on a bit of an uptick. The old rust belt cities have their share of crime, but it doesn’t seem to equal the rate of BR. Chicago is so big, they can claim their crime is isolated to a small area.
I think BR definitely has great qualities. From a cultural standpoint, why in the hell can’t people in North BR resist the urge to murder someone?

I think he means that it's almost directly west of BR.

It's not really unique to BR. Baltimore, Birmingham, Jackson, NOLA, Little Rock, Shreveport have similar issues.
We just have more of it than most places.

Do our actual ghettos have a higher crime rate than ghettos from other cities, or does it just make up a higher percentage in BR and the other cities you listed?
I would def say the latter is true

Exactly! Sorry you’re a beta and hate hunting or fishing. Also, what’s wrong with blue collar jobs in plants? I’m not saying Louisiana is the best place to live but it’s certainly not as bad as these jackasses make it out to be.

You’re the typical La durrrr and prob fit into every single stereotype.

Just stay south of Florida Blvd and it's perfectly fine.
I've really enjoyed living here these last 7+ years.

Because Atlanta and Houston are the greatest places ever and if you don’t have desire to live in a major metro then you’re a small minded “stereotypical La baw”

Really wouldnt be surprised if this isnt a domestic situation between two men.

I thought a black female liberal mayor miraculously cured gun violence and civil unrest
