Saw disgraced former mayor Mitch the bitch Sunday night

Group walks into the Creole creamery on prytania. He was at the front paying for a single ice cream, alone.
He looked pretty bad.
Skin seemed a little yellow and eyes sunken.
I made a crack about bad hair plugs ETA quietly to my gf (they are all gone). He looked up and I honestly just felt bad for the guy.
Then I remembered he's a Landrieu and hoped he got hit by a car as he left.

i don't follow that stuff, but i thought that mitch was considered to be a hero by many, as wrong as that may be, and as wrong as i may be for thinking this..why is he disgraced?

He promoted himself at the expense of all of us, and had plans to promote himself much further at much greater expense to a lot more people.
If he's having a tough time now, you'll pardon me if I don't feel even a little bit bad for him. We're all better off forgetting about him.
