This is the Friars fire at 15 acres. The biggest of the fires in SD County is the Lilac Fire at 85 acres. Forward Progress has been stopped and it is 50% contained. All within 24 hours. The other fires in SD County have had forward progress stopped and are less than 40 acres total between them.

Compared to The Palisades or Eaton fires, 23.7k and 14k acres respectively, the fires in SD County are relatively small.

SD is not near as woke as LA. I bet they get it under control much quicker.

I’ve never understood the push to relabel “homeless” as “unhoused”.

Same thing with relabeling “illegals” as “undocumented immigrants”.

It’s word salad. Quit relabeling this crap.
