Smoother eyewall structure on radar is not a great sign to see just before landfall. #Sally now strengthening as it approaches the coast at an excruciatingly slow pace. Max winds now ~90 mph and could get higher. Flooding from ocean and rain occurring regardless of exact winds. LINK

Do you think Gulf Shores will get the Wikipedia credit for the landfall? Could be a few different places close by...
I think it will be Perdido Key or Pensacola which city limits aren’t that far from the state line

30 nautical mile wide eye or 35 miles. That's about from Fort Morgan to the FloraBama state line.

10-4 buddy. I’ve worked Hurricanes for over 10 years now..... but I’m new to this?
Post constructive information to help people that don’t know the system shifted almost 200 miles.

DK why you keep steeping up for them? There’s people right now that have no clue what’s headed for them.
Shame on them then. Seriously. Blaming the NHC for that is absurd when they were woken up to hurricane watch/warning alerts just like the New Orleans folks were.

I was watching him earlier and while at a stop light he had his window down. At that moment a giant piece of gutter landed A few feet from his car. Pretty sure he shite his pants a little.
