That and they're generally wrapped in rain in the deep south.

On the water temp question, we got a bunch of bouys out there too and I don't remember if the sonde records the surface temp or not but the surface temp is also going to be the water temp since the surface is water and all.

SE LA got very lucky for this storm.... something slowed it down. If it had kept its former forward speed at like 13 MPH it would have come into the area... it’s like it’s just waiting for that front to come and drive it NE... strange storm. Plus it got really strong really fast, and now has lost some energy...

We need a tornado condition alert when the possibility of a tornado forming exists in a specific cell/area.

You sound like you’re really intelligent. Maybe you should read “Current Weather Alerts for Dummies”. It probably has pictures.

People also drink bleach. Can’t help stupid.

I’m puzzled at how TWC has people in freaking New Orleans but apparently not on the Alabama Gulf Coast where the biggest impacts are.

Why don’t you actually read the warnings then? Pretty sure they state radar indicated or not.

Read the information then make your own decision on how you should behave. This isn’t kindergarten.

And when has this happened anytime recently?

There are false alarms but this really exaggerates the frequency of them.

Watch>Warning>Tornado Emergency
Shits too complicated.

Watch:
I end up thinking, “Hey y’all, come watch this tornado”. So I question it, “Where TF is it? I don’t see shite! Liars!!”

Warning:
“I’m warning you, that tornado you was watching is about to come for your mobile home.”

They need new words.

Like:
Pack your shite but don’t leave yet.

And:
GTFO!’n

This is usually the case. That’s why the “oh no Jim cantore is coming” shite is so dumb. He’s never near the action.

I do and after about the fifth warning in a couple of hours I ignored the next half dozen or so.
Now if every time you hear a tornado warning in BR you are going into your safe room that’s your choice. You probably are getting a lot of practice because I’d bet only one of thirty or so verifies here.

I stand corrected. Just seems like he’s not at the landfall location more times than not.
