salamoni’s body cam video is not going to help his appeal / defense. I’d also like the chief to address the public on what was done wrong and how the situation should have been handled, as opposed to what Salamoni did.

I’ll accept this. However I just heard a SU law professor on WBRZ say Sterling was resisting bc he thought he was being treated unfairly. That’s BS. He was resisting bc he’s done it before, he was on shite and he knew he was about to go back to jail bc of what was in his pocket.
Exactly.
He was
1. On drugs
2. Had an illegal firearm in his pocket
3. Knew he'd be going back to jail.
He also had a very similar altercation with cops before. He just didn't get shot.

You're an idiot. Did you even watch the videos?

He ran up on Sterling with a gun pointed to his head and said he'd execute him if he didn't comply.
Sounds like a wonderful incentive to comply, wouldn't you say?

How could Lake disarm him when he wouldn’t stand still & put his hands on the hood?

So Sterling bullied a homeless man and ending up dying because he wouldn't comply. Why did sterling hate the homeless?

This makes sense. No idea why anyone would get mad at this.
And I can't figure out for the life of me why police departments specifically in larger cities are having a hard time hiring new officers...

Did anyone catch the guy in the wife beater give Sterling cash & not walk away with a cd?

It may be unprofressional, I’m not a cop and I don’t know their codes of conduct. All I know is that they were on a call of an armed individual and they were prolly on edge

Sounds like a wonderful way to cause a situation just as what happened here

Lake was there when Salamoni rolled up.
Salamoni gets out, should have taken a defensive stance with gun drawn on Sterling. Lake should have backed off and drawn at the same time.
If at that point Sterling wants to shoot, good luck fricker.
In the video, once Sterling was on the ground and you hear 'GUN, GUN' as if it's some big surprise shows that the officers weren't working together. They knew why they were going there. Because of a man with a gun.

Or an incentive to fight the a-hole threatening to kill you.

Yep, he would have been dead long before this if that gun wouldn’t have fell harmlessly out his pocket in that other incident

A justifiable kill of a drug dealing pedophile?

I have to pretty much agree on this.
I wish a cop would post on this thread.
I’m not a cop but I just feel like Salmoni was in a safer position drawn on Sterling from 10 or 12 feet with Sterling’s hands visible.
Going in for the tackle just gave up Salamoni’s advantage.
