Sounds like you've looked into it deeper than just assuming that Franklin kids are "weird" or "socially awkward." ?? Good luck!

Care to elaborate...? Just curious.. You seem pretty bitter....

Rummel has always had and will continue to have a "basic" program so they will always take below avg students. I think Rummel has gotten itself in trouble by selling out to Football to an extent. A lot Kids that prob aren't paying full tuition are basically recruited to the school.
Also the improving public school system post Katrina is affecting all the Catholic HS. Even Jesuiit cannot be as selective as they have been in the past.
Finally, less baptized Catholic babies are being born in the metro area; therefore, a lower # of kids will be directed by their parents to Cathoilic grammar and HS. Catholic Grammar schools in the area are hurting as well.
Fwiw, I remember seeing the NMS #s from last year and Jesuit had like 20 something. Rummel, HC, and BM had about the same #. I believe Rummel might have had more than the others.

Country Day is a good school, but a lot of the parents are a little "off"./

Regis High School in Manhattan
My kid isn't at Strake Jesuit (yet) but I hear Lahart was a great guy and it is a big loss.

I used to work with an administrator that used to work at country day. She says said that those kids had to be the most sheltered kids in the area and they gonna be mind blown when they get to college.

that doesn't exist in the city, and who wants to commute across the bridge?
I do it and save money by not having to pay for private education. The bridge is only 24 miles long. It's not like you're having to drive a 60 mile one way commute. To each his/her own I guess. It works for me and I don't have a problem with it. My kids are in A-rated schools without having to sell out an arm and a leg towards private tuition.

In 2014 Jesuit had 35 NMS and in 2015 they had 34. The 2015 number represented 16% of NMS in state of Louisiana.

How many did BM have in 2014 and 2015?
Posted on 2/25/15 at 9:39 am to STEVED00
What does that have to do with your claim the Rummel may have led the pack?
Posted on 2/25/15 at 9:40 am to LNCHBOX
if those 35 nms went to bonnabel they would all still be nms .

Hell, CHSBR had 8. So the rankings go
Jesuit>>>>>>>>>>>>> ChsBr>>>>>>>>Rummel>Bm, HC
