Obviously you already had them judged in your mind way before anything supposedly happened. I’m sure your wife is proud to be married to you.

I’d say that went over like a fart in church, but you can deny responsibility for a fart.

That’s the way to welcome the new folks

If you thought the kids were cute you don’t say anything but you didn’t like the kids and were a total douche.

Do you even Deuteronomy 19?

“A single witness shall not suffice against a person for any crime or for any wrong in connection with any offense that he has committed. Only on the evidence of two witnesses or of three witnesses shall a charge be established. If a malicious witness arises to accuse a person of wrongdoing, then both parties to the dispute shall appear before the Lord, before the priests and the judges who are in office in those days. The judges shall inquire diligently, and if the witness is a false witness and has accused his brother falsely, then you shall do to him as he had meant to do to his brother. So you shall purge the evil from your midst. ...

So you judged some kids, invented a reason to get them kicked out, turned out to be wrong, and still think you were in the right?

To be honest if the parents didn’t want there children to be judged they should teach them how to behave and put on some loafers and not basketball shoes

Is it your money?

If not, then you have zero reason to get involved.

Oh the travesty. Basketball shoes in church? What a scandal.

Just own up to being a judgmental shithead and move on.

It's straight up alarming that you still think you are in the right.

Easy way to resolve this. Have every person in the church write down what they donated and see if it adds up prior to the kid getting the basket.

Me and my family go to a pretty nice church and often times people give pretty sizable donations when they pass the basket around

Were they black or just poor looking? How would God feel about you judging people based on their looks?
