Have you tried the Jambalaya Girl stuff? It's heaven in a box.

Louisiana Fish Fry is 1/3 the price and better.

I'll give that one a try. A friend recommended Jambalaya Girl, and it was surprisingly good for a box mix.

What you are describing is common across most areas of the country.

Zuppardos is the only place I’ll shop. Always have things in stock…..and the best service. Also, the lowest prices on liquor and wine.

Plenty of grocery stores are like this right now

This isn’t Rouses specific. There are still massive supply chain and labor shortage problems in this country.

Gentlemen, as I stated in my OP I've gone to multiple supermarkets, and none of them have the same missing product/lack of employee issues that my local Rouse's has on a constant basis.

There's a couple of rouses that are "nice" but there's a lot that are shite.

Insert Drusilla location into the latter category.

The one by lsu makes you feel like they had to bring the nola ghetto feel there to make you feel at home.

I'm not a Rouses fan. I get that they've built newer and more modern stores but still not a fan. The one I go to at Veterans near Causeway in Metairie is a premier real estate location in the entire state. They've renovated it several times and still not a great store. It feels like they're always trying to improve it so it is never stable.

Publix >>> Rouses

Publix doesn't do any high end build out but they are bright, clean and easy to shop. Their sandwiches are excellent.

I much prefer Dorignac's, Breaux Mart & Zuppardo's over Rouses. The new Zuppardo's is great.

Dorignacs is very well run because the owners walk around it all day.

This is happening in BR at the Bluebonnet location as well. They really don't have that great of a selection

Every time I buy fresh fruit, inevitably it spoils quickly or is filled with hidden mold. Strawberries, especially. I’ve stopped getting fruits/vegetables there.
I feel like this has been happening everywhere so much lately, like in the last year. It’s really annoying.

It’s because they spent all their money funding the January 6th terrorist attacks

Hi Nabor takes the cake on that - if you want to buy rotten fruit and spoiled milk & cheese - go there

Sad that you would buy woke feminist jambalaya and put hardworking jambalaya men like Tony’s and zatairains out of business

What I've seen is if Rouses built the store themselves then it tends to be nice. If they took over a leblancs etc. then it tends to be shite...
