I will say in defense... the story reads like he was being assaulted and thought he was going to be raped. If that was the case it would be self defense and not murder.

Presumably hiding the body would make that claim rather difficult to sustain.

ETA I have no idea who this guy is but the whole thing is interesting AF.

Peej can we get a poem?

He was A ROCKER
and always second fiddle
he would have rather played soccer
but he knew he couldnt do diddle

So he teamed up with Shaun
and thought he could be the man
he ended up up being a pawn
but did have a nice tan

Once he got cracked through that mirror
he was never the same
shaun went on to greatness
and Marty was never in the game.

The end

I don’t either. Just saying it’s another fricked up situation that has probably played a part in him losing his mind.

I have the word of a murderer.

What I don't have is anyone else's word.

I think people are missing something important...

They made money in the WWF.

Less so in the AWA and in Memphis after they got fired by the WWF for the first time.

And they couldn’t stand each other by the time late 1991 rolled around.

Damn you Winnie! Look what you've done to Marty. This is all your fault.

If he was 13, it’s a moot point. He would have been a juvenile and likely subject to a max sentence that let him out at 25 or so. Skakel was arrested as a juvenile, but tried as an adult bc state law allowed 15 year olds to be tried as adults on murder. I am pretty sure no state allows 13 year olds to be tried as adults.

If he was charged, the defense would be on him. He would have to come up with the evidence of self defense. Not really obstruction of evidence. Just really hard to establish self defense so many years later.

Seems like a good thread to mention my dad grew up in Columbus and was in a bowling team with Marty, sounds like he’s lucky to be alive. Pretty funny how cool I thought that was when I was a kid.

Nothing compared to what that superkick from Shawn did to his career.

Don't most states not have a statute of limitations on murder?

Far as I know, there are no Statute of limitations on murder cases.
