The guy that used you area code and real phone numbers so you would answer fined $120 million.

I fully expect the OT to do their work. I couldn't find a Facebook, but I was hoping for an email or phone number so I can call this dude around the clock when I get bored.

I still get robocalls every fricking day though so what's changed? I live in Dallas but still have a Louisiana area code so I always 100% know it's a scam when 318 and 504 call me. Anyone I know with those area codes is already saved in my phone.

Not high enough. Should be 1.2 billion. Also he should be hung by a phone cord

This shite worked all of one time on me. I looked at the number, it looked extremely familiar for a split second before I realized that it was very similar to mine. Ever since then it was an immediate declined call when I got it

Same exact thing here. I've been getting a lot of Alexandria phone calls now too.

If there was ever a crusade worthy of the OT. It is this one.

Just have to let all the people wake up.

Did y'all actually read the FCC's complaint?

quote:

The carrier responded on January 11, 2017, providing call records covering the three-month period from October 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016. According to subpoena responses received by the Commission, Mr. Abramovich, purporting to do business as Marketing Strategy Leaders, made 96,758,223 calls during this time period, averaging over a million calls a day.

That is absolutely insane. One man has single handedly aggravated and pissed off nearly every single American.

A $120M fine is too weak in my opinion.

Whitepages.com has him listed with two phone numbers and two current apartments. It also lists 3 of his family members.

I do not know what is OK to post here. His middle name is also Ezequiel.

He apparently has 2 daughters on FB and his dad is on there too. His dad's has a few pics of them together.

He should be in jail. The FCC is never going to collect that money from him

I don't want him fined. That's not good enough. I want him publicly drawn and quartered.

The family is from Belarus so I am sure the money is tucked away all over the world.

I still get two or three calls a day from these asshats. The latest pests are pushing some kind of back pain relief, eliminating my student debt, and the ever traditional car warranty.

A fine is not a deterrent to these assholes. They file bankruptcy and move their call centers to another location. Within 1 day they are back up and running the same shite scams they were before. The only thing that will work is jail time and a LOT of jail time for these habitual lawbreakers. It's time to put the full weight of the US gov behind prosecuting and imprisoning these fools.

I haven’t answered a scam or robocall in probably over a year, and as a result I rarely get them now.

Typical week, I might get a couple of calls using my area code and prefix. I don’t decline the call. I silence the ringer and let it go to voice mail after a few seconds.
