Yeah he was. Said terrible things and perpetuated many lies in the service of his political ideology. He was not a good person. Still a terrible way to go being stabbed by your own kid.

Okay, I’ll test it. I think Charlie Kirk was an a-hole that debated college kids only for a reason.

But he quoted Stout. And Stout didn’t post what you had in the second quote box in your post. I did.

And I stand behind what I said. It’s true that Rob Reiner said terrible and provably untrue things repeatedly in order to push his political agenda. He peddled false propaganda extensively for years.

All of this political animosity so many in this thread lament, Rob Reiner spent years stoking the flames of it.

He pushed lies and was petty and full of hate against everyone who did not agree with his political views. And it’s also true that it’s a terrible way to go having your throat slit by your own son.

I was just trying to show the poster who Stout was replying to with his posts of Reiner’s past crazy TDS tweets and that it was not about trying to justify
or mock Reiner’s murder (as you weren’t and I thought Stout was just replying to you).

Maybe Stout was just adding to the thread by replying to the last post at the time and not actually responding to you. Not having a reply to OP or an easy way to reply in the thread pages in without it being specifically directed to anyone at the bottom of each page does at times cause a little confusion about whether or not to view the reply in the context of the post being replied to.

The leftists and the so-called moderates here are trying to equate unequal reactions to 2 very different murders and make it look like any criticism of Reiner including pointing our his own comments about his mental health is same as Republicans complaining about those cheering and justifying the assassination of someone for their political views or complaining about those who to tried to still blame Kirk for his own murder. It was a straw man argument by them.

I remember some people condemning Kirk’s murder wholeheartedly while also stating they didn’t agree with him or even like him. The only ones those condemning Kirk’s murder that still got any real push back were the ones that still had to call him a racist or take quotes of context to label him as hateful or part of the problem as they were still basically attempting to back door a way to blame Kirk and his views for his own murder. That also implies anyone else with those views are some kind of ist and part of the political violence problem, and worst of all those cheering and justifying it based on his views were implying if not at times explicitly stating others with same views deserve the same.

Regardless the left will always show what true hate and intolerance are if anyone here gets confused again. Here is Michelea Ponce aka motherofballers on tiktok.

I haven’t seen anybody on here celebrating his murder. And anybody on here doing it, is doing it ironically. That’s the difference between our side and yours. Prick.

Oh shite. Don’t read Trump’s post about Reiner whatever you do

this situation is a microcosm of the irrational hate and divide in this country now - it saddens me.

because they know what type of fefense they will be up against and they know the sleazy lawyers will seize upon any failure to follow police protocol, no matter how minuscule and insignificant it was. OJ trial taught us a lot.
