Road Rage Incident - Guy Waved a Gun at Me and then Followed Me

So today I was driving coming up on some stopped traffic and decided to change lanes. I saw a car in the other lane but thought I had time to change lanes. The guy was coming faster than I thought, and he slams on his brakes but doesn't have to go off the road, and there is no collision.
He gets on the side of me, and I see him raise some type of rifle (maybe AR15 or something similar). He doesn't point it at me but just short of shows it to me.
Then the guy stopped in a parking lot and I thought it was over although he was yelling. Nope, the car follows me for about 10-15 minutes. At one point a passenger who either got picked up or I just didn't see before, yells at me from the car to come pull next to them in the other lane (four lanes). I don't. I act like I'm turning right, they turn right, and then I continue straight before hanging a left. I didn't see them again after that.
Not sure if these guys were just trying to scare me or if I was about to get murdered. I am thankful I did not find out.

Should have got him to follow you onto an open highway get him up to 100+ then pit maneuver off the road. Easy win

I thought they had stopped following for a bit. I just kept driving. In retrospect, I probably should have called the police while it was happening. I called afterward just to report it.

All of the above. Started on MacArthur and then the followed me when I went on Masonic and then made my way to Jackson.
