Last March I drove from NOLA to New Iberia on 90. I saw 13 dead gators all spread throughout the trip.

Moose once

A mid-sized deer will do a number on a truck/car. I can’t imagine what a damn damn moose would do

We hit one once in Palmer AK. Luckily, it was a road in the woods and we were driving slowly in several inches of snow. Moose ran along side the car using the headlights to illuminate a path, then tried to cross. We slowed to the point the moose ended up on the hood of the car with nothing but slight cosmetic damage, and one side mirror.

They use your headlights for a path, which leads to many of these type accidents.

. Saw a groundhog walking down the sidewalk in Maine this summer.

Years ago while driving in Alabama from Birmingham to Fort Payne in the month of march as we got closer north, we counted 33 dead skunks. ( when we started counting after noticing a lot)

I don’t know if they were mating and trying to cross the highway or what but it was crazy.

There's a road the cuts across the middle of the Big Island of Hawaii over to Hilo. I swear I counted at least 100 dead goats of different sizes and states of dismemberment splattered all over that road during one drive alone. It was the craziest drive I've ever done. I literally had to slalom my rental car around dead goats for two hours. I guess the interior island is just full of feral goats and they have zero awareness of cars. Buzzards would have a field day if they had any. Thank God I made that drive during the day.

Humans, thats just crazy, we all hear the story's about so and so. Had a friend decades ago, lose his gf(beautiful young woman) right on Nicholson in traffic at night near LSU. pretty terrible.

Were her initials CC, going after her brother's dog who got out? Gorgeous young woman, if the same event.

Now that all the crawfish ponds around Crowley and Eunice are empty I see a shitload of turtles trying to cross over roads to get to the drainage ditches.
