Anyone thinking he’s getting frick you money from this doesn’t understand the massive uphill he has to climb just to have a court take up the case. Take George Zimmerman for example. During the trail media outlets purposely altered and edited 911 tapes to cast his actions that night in an entirely different light. Those tapes were broadcast to millions of viewers around the country. After his acquittal, Zimmerman attempted to sue those media outlets for purposefully and intentionally defaming him. The judge in the case ruled him a public figure and tossed his claim. He got nothing. It takes 1 judge declaring Kyle Rittenhouse a public figure and it’s over. Think about that before making retarded statements about frick you money and he’s set for life and all that bullshite… his mother on the other hand has a much better chance of winning a defamation case imo.

Sandman is not the best comparison. Also, no one knows what he got.

Technically you can but getting past the initial motions for this cause of action would be a one in a million. The Westfall Act looms very large. You would have to prove it was outside the scope of employment which for a president is particularly hard.

If that hurdle was cleared you would almost have to deal with the malice requirement for public figures which Rittenhouse would almost certainly be considered once his face and name was on every news outlet in the country.

I believe bumble joe and his folks made comments and posted defamatory pics before he was placed in the office of the presidency. If suit can’t be filed now, it can be once he is out of office.

So the media lies about you and your actions, propagates the lie and turns you into a national figure through their lies, ruin you through their lies and then get off Scott free because they turned you into a national media figure through their lies. Sounds about right.
