Beloved actor Wilford Brimley, who was once the face of Quaker Oats and an advocate for diabetes awareness, has died, according to TMZ.

The 85-year-old reportedly passed away at his home in Utah on Saturday.

Sources told TMZ that he was previously in the ICU wing of a hospital on dialysis and had been very sick for days.

85? I swear that son of a bitch has been in his late 70's since I was a kid growing up in the 80's and 90's

He has that Fred McMurray disease. He was a old man when he was a kid. Probably born with a mustache.

Another WTF about how he looked in the 80s. Robert Redford is only 2 years younger than Brimley!

I don't remember any movie that Wilfred Brimley was in.

But I'll always remember his Liberty Medical commercials that came on during The Price Is Right when I was a kid.

"Hi I'm Wilfred Brimley and I have diabeetus. Diabeetus isn't a God damn joke son. You check your blood sugar and you check it often."

That oatmeal must work? Pop Fisher was an ancient looking 50 in The Natural and Cocoon, then really slowed the aging process these last 35 years. Amazing.

I don't think you remember the commercials too accurately either
