We all heard Ross Perot died today (yesterday)

But so did Rip Torn.

quote:

Rip Torn, America’s celebrated wildman actor, has died aged 88. Torn, who had been a constant presence on stage and screen since the mid-1950s, was arguably better known for his eccentric, and occasionally violent, antics when the cameras weren’t rolling – and on one notorious occasion, when they were.

Prediction: there will be puns about being ripped and torn about his death.

Also, had no idea he was that old.

I knew he was old, but I didn't know he was looking that rough lately.

The wrench hits him in the neck but he grabs his face. Bad acting.

He was an actor's actor. Among the highest regarded in his craft. And he was married to another legendary actor, Geraldine Page (my all-time favorite)

I loved him as the character Artie, but first began to be aware of him in the movie Cross Creek.

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball. Sadly, none of us can dodge death.

RIP, Agent Zed.

He was good in everything he was in.
He seemed like he would be fun to drink a beer with.

RIP

I never realized how much an "r" and "n", when put next to each other, looks like an "m"
