yep. I'm forever cutting myself on metal or sticking something in my foot/hand. About the only vaccine I actually go get and request.

Your guarantee is worthless. They invited me inside to eat lunch with them. I always just talked to them like regular folks. Never disrespect. Laughing and joking. They have always treated me well.

I know more than a few such executives and they all quit and started their own firms over time.

All it was is that they wanted something from you.
I do know that of which I speak regarding Jim Bernhard.

I do a lot of outdoor activities hunting and fishing. When the doc said I'd be good for 10 years, I told him to stick me.

That sounds just like our current POTUS.

Damn, this thread is making me look myself in the mirror and to be kind to ppl, as most posts paint this guy as a sociopathic douche who turned his nose up at 99.99% of humans unless he needed something from you.

We all need a good arse-kicking sometimes and a wake up call, I promise to do better going forward. SunGod, I'm starting with you. My apologies for calling you a retard the other day.

Shaw had lawsuits coming that CB&I didn`t know about for shady business practices and bankrupted CB&I. They never paid their bills on time. I would meet people out tailgating and people ask where you work and what not and as soon as I said Shaw, " oh, y`all owe my company this or that amount" kind of embarrassing when Shaw was so well known back then.

He never paid anybody. And this state is so pathetic there are thousands of desperate white collar folks who were willing to get fricked by Jim every year for decades if he kept promising it would come. No way the guy would’ve been as successful in any other state. And I’m curious about what they find when they reconcile the estate. Felt like A LOT of smoke and mirrors although he definitely had some good exits in the past decade.

Prion disease, or mad cow, as it is known, is what I was told from an old friend of his.

I emailed the news to a friend of mine, who now lives in Alberta, he was on the BOD of Shaw and I figured he may not have heard the news up there. His reply was:

He was a real force. I’m sad to hear he passed.

That's what is called "damned by faint praise".

I had this young IT tech working for me, he got a job with Shaw, I couldn't match the salary or benefits, sad to see him go. Six months later he comes to see me, he got fired by Bernhard personally, in the elevator. I was glad to get him back.

This is exactly how Loras Tyrell described Tywin Lannister after his death on Game of Thrones. A Force.

CJD isn’t a “short illness”per the news. From an onset to death is almost a year and most of the time it’s six months before diagnosis.
Glad he made and had many friends throughout his life.
