I have read several reviews on a lot of different door bell cameras, just wanted to see if anyone had any experience and what their thoughts were.

Thanks

Bought and returned Ring after a week. Went with Nest. I liked Ring's app much better, but ultimately wanted the ability scan back through the past 5 days recorded in their entirety. With Ring, the recorded clip shuts off after a minute or so, even if the action is continuing.

I still have an original Ring...It's "okay", but I have since moved it to a side door and installed several Blink cameras placed in different areas of the property. I am very satisfied with them, thus far.

FYI, both Ring and Blink are owned by Amazon, now....

I have the Ring 2. I also have the $30/yr subscription. It's sensitive. Even on the closest zone setting, passing cars set it off. Even with that though I like it. Thinking of adding the motion detector camera to the back of my house.

THat is what I’m worried about. I live near the front of my neighborhood and cars are always driving by. I don’t want that to set it off but I do want to see if someone is wondering around on the sidewalk/front yard.

Ring Pro, I love it.

You can set up zones so passing cars don’t set it off. I have the sensitivity all the way down so only people are animals will set it off. If the sensitivity is all the way up, rain hitting puddles on the ground will set it off. I hardwired it into the existing bell so it still does the normal bell in the house but also gives us the alert on our phones.

Also the subscription is $3/mo and very worth it.

I have pro also and love it. Paid sunscription and can review anything any day. Fly out lies that it stops recording after 2 mins.

I also have the motion sensor for my backyard connected to solar.

It’s much cheaper security system that gives me full access to excellent video on my phone.

Caught a guy breaking into my truck in my backyard on one with enough time to run him off. Worth every penny IMO.

I have the ring doorbell and ring motion spotlight.

Was given one as a Christmas present. I don't know if I'd run out and purchase one otherwise. It's good, nothing to complain about really. I guess I'm kind of "meh" on it.

I thought I had the ring pro 3, but just googling, I dont think that exists but its the newest ring and I love it. Camera is really nice with a nice wide range, the app is nice, I think its $30 or so a year for the older playback. Bluetooth doorbell.

I have the nest thermostat so I kind of went with the nest, but on its own, I love the ring.

Ring doorbell is on special with prime day. Might need to bite the bullet and just buy one.
