At least they didn't say "Next Italy"

Well, that's because after NOLA is done fricking us all, they're gonna call Italy "First New Orleans".

I was out every night for the 5 day Mardi Gras weekend... if I had it, it would have shown up by now right?

If symptomatic, most certainty. Your window for passing it onto others would have been probably a week or so after getting it, so they would be sick by now too.

Yes and people from all over the world came here for that, bringing the virus with them. Healthier young people carry it and have no real symptoms but it spreads from them to others, and so on and so on. Do you not understand how that works?

For reference NOLA has more confirmed cases by a small margin than Los Angeles

Given the relative size of the cities that paints a pretty bleak picture

I can only imagine how much worse things would be if those morons had the St. Patrick's day parade.

As of Tuesday:

66,800 tests for the novel coronavirus have been conducted in California.

2,535 people have tested positive for the novel coronavirus in California.

48,600 results are still pending,

Another 150,000 test kits are on their way to Oakland from Hong Kong

California is way behind in testing and tracking coronavirus. It’s a big problem
