But whether it's a good idea really depends on who the restaurant caters to and where it's located.

Any place in a big city in a trendy part of town can easily do this. Kids and parents with kids are a very small part of their business if its more formal or trendy dining.

I really don't see why this is even news worthy. The difference between what makes sense in big cities like San Fran or Chicago, NYC, L.A., etc. and the rest of the country can be pretty dramatic.

Honestly if you have kids you shouldn’t be eating at fancy restaurants, you should be sacrificing so they can have a better life

Exactly. It's simply a matter of "know who your customers are."

The restaurant they highlight in the article has 3.1 stars on 188 reviews on Google.

I think that is reason enough to stay away.

No, but they went with us many times and never acted up.
You are either

1. A parent of robots and not humans

2. Been brainwashed by your daughters to not remember when they were bad

Yep. Parents that claim their children never act up are full of it. Toddlers will not act like adults, which is why if you bring one out to dinner you better be ready to take your kid outside and get a go box. My kid is great most times. Sometimes we end up finishing the meal at home.

I don't see any issue with it. I have a 7 month old, and he doesn't cause any issues when out (yet), but if he did we'd make sure to get him out of the dining area as soon as possible, but a lot of people don't. They have no semblance of common courtesy.

If I'm going to a $50 a plate restaurant or higher, the last thing I want is some fricking slap nut kid screaming its lungs off.

Kudos to that restaurant.

Of course, since it is in Cali, some SJW's are having a shite fit.

I think southern church moms would probably throw a shite fit too if chick fil la told them they couldn't feed French fries to their overweight babies inside their stores any more

I know for a fact that Ruth's Chris Steaks won't let you move to a different table if you're sitting next to a screaming kid if the kid is yours.....

I wish I could simultaneously upvote for the restaurant's policy, and downvote for your click bait thread title.
