Its in the San Francisco area.

Small kids are not banned from the restaurant, but if your kid acts up, they ask you to leave. Since there are no boosters, high chairs, etc allowed, most people with small kids just do not go.

Of course, since it is in Cali, some SJW's are having a shite fit.

Would love to eat there. I hate kids at restaurants. I hate unruly kids parents more

Good for them. They should be able to cater to their clientele as they choose. Some people don't want a screaming kid to ruin their dinner.

Great news. More of the same please. Other people’s sex trophies are not my problem, and so don’t make it my problem. Children act up, responsible parents bring them outside to get their minds right, not subject other people to their own chaos.

The very reasoning for these rules are BECAUSE of bad parenting and even worse consideration for others who have NO vested interest in their children they choose to ignore and let other people have to deal with the fallout of their antics in a restaurant, as if that’s their duty to do so in life as well.

INCONSIDERATE is, like with most things these days, what causes rules like this to be in place. It’s not that you have children and bring them to restaurants. It’s that you do nothing to curb their behavior, and expect others to just deal with it because you want to eat out and don’t care about others around you. HELL SURPRISE... It’s 2018.

As a parent with kids, I have no issue with this.

Will be interesting to see if this helps or hurts their bottom line though. I guess it depends on the type of restaurant it is

I saw this earlier and their official stance seems to be "your negative reviews because of this policy are making us more popular, thanks"

A business should be able to discriminate any way it sees fit.

Exactly! Both of my daughters have been going to dinner with us since they were 3 or 4 at nice restaurants (not talking about Chili's). They acted like little ladies, not heathens.

As a father of 2, I don't have an issue with this at all. If anyone, including a kid, is acting up and being obnoxious while others are paying a good bit for a nice dinner the manager should ask them to go outside.

I don't have an issue with taking kids almost anywhere if they are behaved, but even the best kids misbehave and when they do they should taken away by the parents so everyone else can enjoy it.

Did they go with us everytime we went and ate? No, but they went with us many times and never acted up.

Both of their 8th birthdays were held at Ruffino's. We took the limo, let them sit at the pizza bar as we sat back at a table. We didnt' want to tie up a table with 6 girls eating pizza.

2. Been brainwashed by your daughters to not remember when they were bad

No shitbag. You and your crotch-dropping need to GTFO. They clearly don't want your kind there.

Even San Franciscans think Auburn fans are fricking insufferable.

Yeah, I'm totally fine with a restaurant handling these things however it wants to. But whether it's a good idea really depends on who the restaurant caters to and where it's located.

Case in point: About a year ago, a new upscale restaurant opened in a smaller town right near Athens, GA. They decided they would basically have a zero-tolerance policy for kids. As in, kids can't even be there. Apparently, the people who opened this restaurant were from Atlanta and did not do a lick of market research. The town (Watkinsville) where they decided to locate is basically the suburban young-family hot-spot of Athens. As a result, they got absolutely raked over the coals on social media. Apparently, multiple families had gotten all nice and dressed to try this new establishment and got turned away at the door (not sure what the age requirement for kids was...)

So yeah, they went out of business inside of a year.
