If people get everything they claim to want, they destroy themselves.
Humans still need structure of some type and daily human interaction.

Stupid shite! As if people will be using keypads in 10 years, much less in 2100.

Literally nothing different than working in an office

The 20-20-20 rule, which suggests looking at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes, is recommended to alleviate eye strain.
So just do this at home

The convenience of working from home often means easy access to snacks
Same is true at nearly every office I have ever worked in. And when it wasn’t, I brought snacks.

Without the need to commute or move around an office space, physical activity levels may decrease significantly.
Need to commute means the need to sit on your arse in a car for 2-3 hours a day. Talk about sedentary. How about during those 2-3 hours you have back you go to the gym or for a walk?
This fear of WFH is total bullshite. The Only problem, and it’s admittedly big, is antisocialization and that can be combated by going to lunch with friends in your area.

So instead of working, you were working out on company time? Theft

Same weight here and I’ve been at the house working for 2+ years, but I also hit the gym and manage what I eat so it doesn’t affect me.
The OP 3D model shows what will happen to weak minded people who do not exercise regularly.

WFH has not been good for us as a society.
I assume it would increase social isolation?

Lol that's hilarious. I've been working from home for nearly 7 years now and I am still as fit as I ever was.
Wasn't it not that long ago they had a model for what office work would do to humans? I remember an overweight zombie looking creature they featured.

How'd they get a pic of cajunangelle?

So this is the same thing that happens to house wives.

I lost weight because I was able to squeeze in more workout time and was able to cook from home more.
That said, I also made sure I had a good, ergonomic setup for when I am working. And have a reminder set for getting up to move around. It would be really easy for me with back to back sessions for 5-6 hours to not get up and move if I didn’t make an effort to do so.

That’s all on you for gaining weight. You have breaks in the day to walk,
Agree. But driving to work gives you a nice opportunity to stop by the gym or go at lunch. The days I work from home, I hit the phone ten minutes after I wake up, and I'm on/off the phone until after dinner.
Its' not healthy and sometimes the environment we put ourselves in works against our minds.

Bruh, these people want to work from home, thats peak laziness.
you think they are going to cook a fresh healthy meal? nah they just ordered doordash for the 50th time this month.

Who works from home consistently without setting up a space? I have a better office set up at home than I ever had in an office. I get out and walk my property at lunch, and have lost weight because I can fix healthy meals easier at home and would eat out when I worked downtown.

Just as a general rule of thumb, you gotta set some boundaries with people. Unless it’s some sort of life or death emergency, I do not entertain after hours calls. Sure, there are exceptions but 9 out of 10 is a no go.

Yeah her BMI is probably high but if she got into the range she'd look like a rail

I don't really like WFH but do it 3 times a week. I'm in better shape than I've been since high school but it does affect my posture. I slouch my shoulders and stare closely at the screen because I'm an old man.
