I will freely admit I believe a lot of teachers are trash, but some people are also looking for anything to bitch about.

Nothing wrong with this request. A school cafeteria has a schedule. The kindergarten students aren’t the only students eating.

I somehow survived and it was never a big deal to eat school lunches or lunches from home.

When I was a kid, I went straight to first grade. No kindergarten shite for us.

ETA. People downvoting truthful statements.

With some kindergarten teachers trying to indoctrinate children into that gay shite Hitler Youth Style, you bitch about this? It is actually not bad advice to start preparing your kid for school.

If this, of all things, makes you want to vomit you should probably never have kids, or open your eyes for that matter

I'm happy to trash modern teachers, but this strikes me more as a look-at-me mom trying to get credit for being so thoughtful and smart.

My wife today say some post from a similar type discussing what "back to school gifts" you should consider for your kid's teacher

As a former teacher, that is stupid.

Everything. Usually the higher income, the better behaved, hard working, and intelligent a kid is. There is a direct correlation about 95% of the time.

It used to be this way, for the most part, but nowadays it doesn’t really matter income level.

I used to teach pre-k, and my students were just fine eating in the cafeteria. They got the hang of it quickly. Strange that kindergartners don’t know this.

Not true at all. I taught in both public and private schools. Assholes in all income brackets.

Do you think most celebrities have polite, hard working kids, intelligent? Yeah, right.

As someone who did this with both my kids (younger starts kindergarten in a few weeks), I see no issue there. Lunch time is a huge adjustment and you want them to be not hungry. Hungry kid=not cooperating kid

Some of us were sent to school to fend for ourselves and eat whatever crap the lunchroom had to offer on a given day. ETA: And we rode a bus with no AC to get there and there was no "pickup lines".

There were a lot less child molesters, rapists, murderers, etc back in your day too… guess we have you to thank for those changes
